Schwarz LLM, Jayson, Partner

Mr. Schwarz was called to the Bar of Ontario in 1978 and has practiced in the areas of real estate law, corporate/commercial transactions, and personal injury litigation. Mr. Schwarz received his Masters Degree in Business Law (LLM) from Osgoode Hall Law School. Mr. Schwarz is a member of the International Bar Association and the Canadian and Ontario Bar Associations. He belongs to the Building Industry and Land Development association (BILD), the Ontario Homebuilders Association and the Canadian Home Builders Association. Mr. Schwarz has been involved for many years in assisting clients with their tax planning, real estate, financing, corporate and commercial needs using different structures to facilitate smooth and orderly succession and tax reduction. In co-operation with other professionals Mr. Schwarz works with many of his business clients providing counsel on a multitude of business matters working as an integral part of their team.

Chatzidimos, Konstantine , Senior Associate

Mr. Chatzidimos graduated from Osgoode Hall Law School in 1999 after earning a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from York University's Schulich School of Business in 1996. Konstantine was called to the Bar of Ontario in 2001. He is a member of the Canadian Bar Association, the Hellenic Canadian Lawyers' Association and the Hellenic Canadian Board of Trade. Konstantine commenced practice following his call to the Bar in February of 2001, joined the firm of Schwarz Gillen LLP in January of 2004 and has continued to work closely with Mr. Schwarz Konstantine has quarterbacked numerous complex secured commercial transactions and manages the firm's robust estate administration practice. Konstantine has assisted senior partners in all manner of litigation. Fluent in both written and spoken Greek, Konstantine practices primarily in the areas of real estate, corporate and estate planning law.

Collins, Jamieson , Tax

Jamieson is an experienced Canadian tax lawyer with expertise in M&A structures, trusts, corporate tax planning, corporate reorganizations (including divisive reorganizations), estate planning, objections and appeals of tax assessments, aboriginal taxation, oil and gas tax, executive and employee compensation structures (public and private corporations), and general corporate and commercial law, commercial leasing, and aviation law including aircraft leasing, purchasing, and tax effective international operating structures. As well as being a Canadian tax lawyer Jamieson is also an experienced international aviator with over ten thousand hours of flying time in both large jet airliners and large corporate jet aircraft. Jamieson has also served as a senior member of the operational management team at Canada’s largest private aerospace company.

Roth, Zane, Senior Associate

Zane received his Bachelor of Laws degree from Osgoode Hall Law School. While at Osgoode, he served as a research assistant to the former Dean and the Associate Dean of Osgoode Hall. Zane assisted in the preparation of articles for publication, and helped design courses for first year and graduate students. Zane was a judicial clerk at the Federal Court of Canada in Ottawa, where he assisted members of the judiciary and served as the head of the clerkship committee. Zane has successfully appeared before various courts and administrative tribunals including Ontario Courts, the Federal Court of Canada and the Immigration and Refugee Board. Presently, Zane focuses on civil litigation, with an emphasis on personal injury law. Zane is also an accomplished immigration lawyer who enjoys helping his clients come to Canada to live, work, or study.

Sengsavang, Mouane, Head of Securities Department

Ms. Sengsavang gained significant transactional securities experience as an associate at Burstall Winger LLP in Calgary, Alberta, in her capacity as counsel to issuers, and as an associate at Miller Thomson LLP in Vancouver, British Columbia, in her capacity as as counsel to agents. In addition, Ms. Sengsavang gained in house legal experience as legal counsel and deputy corporate secretary of HSBC Bank Canada. Ms. Sengsavang has served as a director of a TSX Venture Exchange-listed biotechnology company and corporate secretary of a number of public companies. She currently serves as head of the Schwarz Law LLP Securities Department.
